In consultation with the Church’s Communications Workgroup, I designed a brand identity that kept what was important for the congregation (the name, tagline, and the ‘braided river’ element), whilst bringing the design into the 2020s.
The Church also wanted a refresh of their website, in a way that retains the simple WordPress admin interface that their staff and volunteers knew well. For example, I kept the ‘Upcoming services and events’ page as a static page, rather than introducing a very pretty, but steep-learning-curve calendar module.
